Default Clock

Can't believe that despite the hi tech dash there is no clock!

I went into Halfords looking for one of those nasty stick on clocks but I couldn't bring myself to actually stick a tacky clock on my dash.

How are you supposed to know the time when you are Vteching around the country lanes in the early hours.

Have any of you guys come up with some devious wizardry to solve my problem?

lol, its a real PITA sometimes isn't it, especially at night when I can't see what my watch says!

Every time I change my stereo I keep hoping it'll have a clock on it but no joy so far. I think a stick on job or one of those all singing and dancing rear view mirror replacements is the easy option.

Good question, this is something that I've always wanted to know, but was too afraid to ask

Until I changed head unit, I had a clock stuck inside the radio flap (you therefore had to have the flap open to see it ), but that was quite a neat solution. However, having now got an Alpine head unit (every function under the sun except a f'ing clock), there is no room for the clock. Bugger!

Quite a common roadster (non) feature - MX-5's dont seem to have clocks either (certainly the earlier ones I have travelled in).

Back when I first ordered an S2000 in '99 I was told there was no clock because "the S2000 is a fun car and you won't want to keep track of time"
(I think this originally came from a press release or something)
Apparently the new '02 model comes with a single CD player which has an integrated clock.
I obtained a plastic stick-on one with "Project 2000" on it just in case

Yeah... I looked in Wal-Marts accessory boutique in the States too and there was nothing there either (the choice was better than the UK but still a bit naff). I did have a

The 2002 has a clock on the stereo, however on the one my colleague has just taken delivery of we couldn't find a way of having the stereo on and displaying the clock at the same time. So to check the time you appear to have to switch off the music!

Ian, the facelifted MX-5 has a clock. A great big ugly digital thing which looks like it was put there as an afterthought.
