Default Cloudy headlight

Hi all,

My driver side headlight has obvioulsy got some condenstation under it and has started to cloud up slightly.

Has anyone had a similar problem and sorted it themselves or is it going to need to new headlight cover?

you can remove, hairdrier and reseal (bake in oven) but that often wont fully stop it. Recent idea from someone on here (apologies forget who) is to just remove the rubber seal where the main bulb is (you can reach in back with hand) and that seems to do the job if you leave it a few weeks. I tried everything with mine and the last easy option to just remove the seal has pretty much sorted it I think

Its a common fault Im afraid, best bit of

That's an overinflated price my friend.

Just try taking off the seal, if not take apart and put a bag of silica gel inside as well.. it'll work if you give it a little time

They shouldnt but they seem to charge very different prices and offer huge variance in customer service. I now travel an extra 20 miles to a different dealer, believe it or not they are both part of same franchise but worlds apart from each other..

the worst experience I had was when I put my S in for the first service since I had bought it.

I mentioned a couple of problems with it...the main one being a grinding noise from the rear passenger side brakes and a slight dragging of the car when I breaked slowly. I told them to check it out specifically! when I got it back they said they couldnt find any problems at all.

Suprised a got in a started to drive home but after 10 mins the noise from the breaks started so I drove back and asked for one of the mechanics to come out with me. Sure enough as we drove the grinding started. So the mechanic goes back to the workshop and takes off the wheel and after looking at it comes over and say"eh yeah you need new discs, pads and calipars?!?!?!"....I said "fair enough but how can you not have noticed that when I specifically asked you to check the brakes!" to which he replied "Nothing showed up on our tests"...I wont tell you what I said to that....lol
