S2KUK members get an additional (5% IIRC) discount from Cox, so it may well work out even cheaper.

I was sorely tempted recently by an RPC clutch having read decent views and with it being much cheaper. I presume it was the standard spec stage 1 version as an alternative to the OEM.

Speaking to TOM at TGM persuaded me to stick with OEM - a bit more expensive but he did me a good deal and suggested that even the stage 1 RPC might be a bit more snatchy than OEM - the saving in cost wasn't worth the (marginally) lesser drive to me so I stuck with OEM for my road-based car.

Comp stage 2 clutches have an OEM feel to them and dont suffer from clutch buzz as some other aftermarket clutches

Would an rpc stage 2 be to much for daily driving? In and out of city

What would you expect to pay labour to fit one of these; OEM or aftermarket? I hear it's a pig to DIY without a ramp, although possible on stands, just...

People are saying RPC clutches are bad so why are you considering them?

I wouldn't say 'just'. It is perfectly possible with the right tools. It's fairly time consuming, but not too difficult if you're methodical. I created a DIY guide specifically for doing it on axles stands.
