Default Cobham junction of A3

Just been informed about this for anyone that's in the vicinity!!

And I'm simply telling you this in order to encourage you all to avoid exceeding the speed limit at any time.

I saw them yesterday afternoon ....... too late I think ! One over each southbound lane on a tripod all wired up to a van.

I'm just hoping they were ANPR cameras as thats what they looked like - trouble was there were no bikes or cars to pull anyone ......

Guess I'll know in 2 weeks !

They were not speed vans AFAIK. I drove to that junction yesterday and it was a van with no camera marking and lots of aerials on the roof. There was also a police car next to the van.

They have been sitting on the bridge there quite regulary recently. And have had 'Surveilance' equipment setup on all 3 lanes too.

Also further North on the A3..heading southbound , where the damaged bridge is (extended 50 limit) they have been sititng there too.
