Default Coilover lowering

Am currently trying to negotiate the minefield of coilover choice and just wondering how much you can safely lower the S by before you start getting into the realms of adjustable toes, rack spacers and bump steer?

All the coilover kits seem to lower to varying amounts as standard so I do not want to choose one that that will take me over that threshold.

Thanks

Maybe 10-15mm? I really dont know.

Long as you can adjust the camber to within recommended torrance level I guess thats ok. (Someone can correct me if I am wrong)

But then the question is "Is it worth the money to lower so little?"

I must be clear here, I'm not doing it for the effect I want to replace the pretty undersprung/damped (in my opinion) stock suspension for something that will handle my favourite fast backroads without so much wallowing and bouncing.

I know lots of the guys on here have fitted coilover kits so wondering if there was a particular height at which problems occurred with camber etc that required additional parts?

I have Tein Monoflex coilovers and EDFC fitted to mine. The damping in the rear units has gone. I've been waiting since November 08 for replacements. Good quality kit but I recommend that you don't buy Tein because they don't seem to carry any stock.

Before you take anything off check your bushes. If it were me, I'd fit Powerflex items where needed. The only replacement compliance bush I could find was from Mugen and the only place that could supply them was Kings Motorsports Unlimited in the USA.
