Default Colour Choice - The Sequel!

Thanks to everyone who replied to my posting asking for advice on whether to go for Silverstone or Red especially those who attached photographs of their pride and joy.
You may recall that I am retiring next Spring after 40 years of toil and the S2K is a a present to myself. I have now decided it has to be an Ascari Red GT and I have signed on the dotted line expecting delivery May 1st. 2005.
Looking to the future and the question of insurance, can anyone recommend a company who would look favourably upon a 59 year old male ( with all his hair) - and Yes, I will be asking Saga!
In conclusion may I say that this is a great forum, long may it continue!!

Congrats on your purchase!!

Check out Adrian Flux - http://www.s2kuk.com with membership of the UK S2000 Owners Club you get a preferential rate. Hit the Benefits, then Insurance link at that site

There are a few vintage people around - AdrianEagle and S200 VMC to name but 2 - although they are 9 and 11 years your senior respectively

Enjoy the car and let's see some pics when you've posted. Don't be too shy to come along to some meets either

Wrong colour, WRONG COLOUR!!!!!!!!!

Joking.

You're gonna love it!

Try all the usual Insurance Companies, if you want cheap, go Elephant, Bell Direct. I've written my other S off with Bell and they were fine.

Excellent choice of car & colour JS

Unfortunately you will only be able to see black from the driving position - unlike me
