Default Compliments and abuse.

Now the better weather is here i drop the top whenever possible and often get compliments about the S from pedestrians. However, i seem to also get quite a lot of abuse. I've heard people shout w****r on several occasions and today a chav type called out c**t in a loud voice as i was driving past. Is this par for the course when you own an S2000 ? Geoff.

I think the James May response is the best.

Twat on street "W4nker"
You "That's MR W4nker to you!"

Had my new S for a week now and have already had quite a few 'comments'. Most have been complimentary but will take the insults with a smile to be honest.

Did have some drunken chavs sat outside a country pub shout 'mid-life crisis' at me last weekend whilst I was looking to park the car somewhere nice. I confess I am 36 and receding in the hair-line but not sure that constitutes mid-life. I just smiled at them and, once I'd found somewhere nice for the car, took the table next to them. I was happy to talk to them about the pleasures of S2000 ownership but they seemed not to want to talk anymore.

Most comments are from young kids who shout 'Nice car Mister !!!" - love it !

Did I mention that I LOVE my new car !!

I had abuse in the TVR and I get it now, occasionally. Just be grateful it's only verbal abuse and that the envious little f*ckwits haven't done this to your car yet ...

Just had two estimates for this and the damage to the door; one from a recommended coachbuilder at
