Ive seen a 2000 Honda S2000 for sale at a local garage. Its in a strange purple colour that I have never seen anywhere else before. It also has the VGS. Its a jap import but has all the Japanese history and is on its first UK owner. Its in good condition and on around 75,000 miles. They want

Drive one without the VGS to see if you prefer it.

Cheers for that mate. The VGS was weird but was hoping it was something i would get used to if I bought it. How does the road tax on imports work in the next few years as I can only find info on UK cars

Get used to is something you shouldn't really be settling for IMHO. You really need to drive one without VGS to see which you prefer.

Unfortunately for S2000's, they fall into band G by 2g/km CO2 emmissions.

As such, if the car is an import, it will have to be registered in this country. Regardless of its manufacturing year, if it was registered after 23/03/06, you will be hit with the full

No not that one. The one im looking at is totally standard. Ill try and get some photos 2moro. This is the colour, apparently its a JDM V-type colour

Kobe's is the same colour. It's called midnight blue. Looks black in a lot of lights.

I'd say it was probably overpriced at

The colour is called Midnight Pearl (PB-73P) - has also been available on some NSXs.
