there are corsa's out there with the calibra 2l turbo unit in.. and loads with the 2l 16v

you can make any car go fast if you throw enough cash at it but i've never seen the point of 'modding' a bucket like that

Cov is a dump
Yeah, I witnessed many of these at Santa Pod last year, racking up 10-11 second quarter mile times, - they're very light cars

as with all young boy racers mentality, they think 'racing' is in straight line.
show the corsa a track or a good set of country roads, that'll show which car is trumps!

havoc.... do you have the dc5 'teg? i saw one on monday mid-morning heading down the A46, towards m40.

i take no offense

I to think that it may be too much power for the S, but its an experiment/project

I love the sleeper cars which is why i want to keep mine stock looking as i have had a fiat uno, keep up with me and i thought bugger me that thing is quick

but what does amaze me is that how the youth of the day manage to mod their cars its so damn expensive

the thing we all have to be worried about is when the blue rinses have the sporty corsa's and toast us at the lights then its time to move over haha

An EG's not really a fair comparison though - they drive bloody well in the first instance, since they're in fact a blue-rinse 'Teg!

A Nova was, is and (even with the FIAT influence) probably always will be a depressing POS.

You'd be surprised how cheap it can be to stick a 2l 16v or turbo unit in.
