Glad your ok! I drove from Rockingham to Nottingham yesterday in really wet conditions, one quite big aquaplane moment at about 75 mph and a few slippy roundabouts, but I drive very steady on all roundabouts in the wet, especially if they are near service stations.

Aye - tricky buggers in the wet!

Glad you're ok and not damaged! Car can always be screwed back together!

That seems a bit odd to me. Mine wont slip in a straight line in the wet unless its on VTEC. Sure both tyres were right pressure. Mine were 10 psi apart the other day and it was interesting for a while!

Yes very strange circumstances..... something must have been wrong. In three years of all weather driving in the S I only had one moment caused by aquaplaning...... could there have been a deep puddle under one rear wheel just as you put your foot down? Do you remember trying to correct the spin or were you still steering straight ahead?

Sorry to hear about your crash, at least you are ok.
How much were you pressing on the accellerator 10%, 80%? Were you consciously feathering the throttle and actively feeling the grip of the car or were you tired and just driving on autopilot?
Did you steer into the skid, did the car fishtail and snap back the other way from the original?
It worries me when people go off seemingly randomly, I don't get it.
