Traffic into Croydon was absolutely horrendous - my last 3 miles to work took over an hour. This wouldnt have been so bad if a woman hadnt decided that it was a bad idea to queue across a junction and that this situation was best remidied by reversing into me

We pulled over and she was clearly shocked. I guess she was only doing 3 or 4 mph when she hit, but her Mitsubishi Charisma (surely trade descriptions should do something about that!) wrapped itself quite neatly around the front of my S, making the most horrid 'crunching' sound in the process. Upon inspection I was stunned to see no damage at all to the S - I have checked 3 further times (including with a chum from work) - nothing, inside or out, amazing I am so relived.

Oh, and the name of the lady who purpetrated this crime - Mrs. Y Honda !

What was the 'crunch'? Was her car damaged.

Always laughed at the name of that car. The Carisma, the car with none!

Yes - the rear bumper on her car caved in and cracked.

If you didn't exchange any details at the scene I wouldn't worry about telling the insurers. Otherwise may be worth it just incase she tries to claim you drove into her or something.

I doubt there would be any damage to the S at that low speed, maybe some paint loss at worst.

LOL at her name though.

Surely you can find a *little* bit of paint damage ..... to get you first spot on CC's new list

I think you should tell your insurers regardless. You have nothing to lose, except invalidating your insurance if they found out you had this knock and didnt report it
