CTR Power hike
Numbers sell, and the only ones a lot of people go for are the BHP.
It's a shame, I loved my CTR, not sure it needed more power through the front wheels though.
I'd rather they'd spent the research money on lighter components, maybe lighter wheels, suspension, etc, sorted out the steering a bit (the cars main criticism)
And they should have sold it in white in the UK from the start, not everyones cup of tea, but type-r's are meant to be white!

There are so many rumours at the moment about the CTR, and most of them are unfounded. It's probably going to be 2007 before we see the next gen CTR - long after the lesser models in the range have been launched, and no-one really knows anything about it's likely configuration at all, despite what they may tell you.
I wouldn't discount this particular rumour altogether though. 2005 is the last production year for the present CTR, and a Ltd Edition model would bridge the gap between the old and new models, as well as marking the end of the current car.
The only real bar to them producing something along the lines of the JDM version for the UK market is the fact that the JDM Civic runs on 100 RON fuel, but no doubt that could be sorted out with some tuning for this market.
I'd quite like to see it happen, but then I'd be torn between grabbing one or waiting to see what the new version offers.

its being speculated that honda uk may let the ep3 CTR go out with a bang by releasing in a limited no the JDM spec CTR in the UK
ie 215ps, recaros, LSD, championship white (yum)
Have no idea whether there is any truth in this, would be great to see.
As to the next gen CTR its all guesses at the moment. i dont think it has even being confirmed has it?

head honchos from Japan had a meet with a few CTR owners in London to discuss what they'd like to see in the new model

Have to say the past couple of CTRs I've seen out and about have been driven by total knob heads.
Think the car is now starting to fall into the wrong hands (dare I say it, but chavs).
Would be nice to see it in CW though.
