That other guy drove like a mong. Plato is obviously a good driver so...........

Having had both, i'm yet to see the difference in the wet. The CTR is just as bad as the S2K in the wet to be honest, although i was ALOT more confident driving it fast as i knew exactly when the rear would break away.

Still getting use to the S2K, i'm sure the same feeling will come with time.

In the dry it's a different matter, the level of grip the S2K generates is excellent. The CTR when booted in 1st gear in VTEC would spin and then into 2nd, wheel hopping badly. I'm yet to have this problem in the S2K yet.

Im sure many on here have raced a CTR and will agree that although they wont beat the S, there isnt much in it.

They still handle extremely well and arent far off the pace of the S.

In the dry it wouldnt be much difference although i would expect the S to be in front.

I've seen that, just sensationalist journalism really. CTRs are very good, having 200bhp and a good chassis/gearbox, but around Combe there is no way it could keep a well-driven S2000. Plato is a better driver than the bloke in the S2000, he's just sideways ALL the time, which costs you speed. Mind you, I'm surprised the "traction control" didn't stop him from doing that... wait a minute...

Similar to the post about the CTR owner trading up to an S2000... the operative word in that sentence is 'up'. The CTR's good... but the S2000 is quite a bit better.

I agree Rob, I always maintain that in a straight line or on open roads, you need a shit load more power to punish someone.

My second last Sti (version 4) had 300bhp and I did struggle to get away from a CTR in a straight line. I pulled a gap, but not much really!
