Really a crime ? So does that mean that applies to cigarette ends as well ?

If you get a small glovebox off a random car, I don't see why not. Behind the plastic panel in the passenger footwell is quite a big space with just a wiring loom. A little improvisation and I reckon it's possible....

Yes, it's littering and you can be fined.

It's just pretty much unenforable, unless you do it when a cop car is sat behind you

Or a "council official" - the Daily Mail runs lots of stories about people being fined for littering when their kids drop something on the floor.

Littering cigarette ends from cars is particularly unpleasant behaviour.

I upgraded the centre console out of the newer one and it has a flip up catch turning the central storage into two cupholders. although I only ever put my phone in there as if you do put a cup in there it gets in the way of changing gear.

The cup holder is a pain, anything larger than a can and it's a nightmare to change gear.

Agreed, I tried to put a water bottle in mine the other day, like you say, no good if you need to change gear!! Useless.

I put not a cup in mine, nothing less than a chalice is good enough for the S2000.
