Default Cyclists...............

I was waiting at a junction.......lights were red.....cyclist comes up along my nearside....with no lights on (he did have one of those 'anti cosmic radiation crash helmets on)....looked to the right...saw it was clear and jumped the light??????

why is it that cyclists seem to have a carte blanche to do anything they like...oh and that includes the idiot who cycled towards me down the wrong way in a one way system yesterday afternoon?

I have been saying this for years ........ they are the the most negligent of road users I come across.

On a number of occasions I have almost hit cyclists who have jumped red lights .....

Once they start confiscating and crushing bikes things should start to improve

I don't want to pay any more tax or insurance thanks. Hopefully my car policy premiums won't have to increase to cover it either!

Got a horn?? use it Better still replace the weedy OEM one with something a little more noticeable and use it. I reckon in the morning most of them are still asleep.

Personally I never jump traffic lights, if I am in a hurry I just mount the pavement and take out a few pedestrians

Didn't I hear recently that new laws dictate that "no matter what the cause, if a car and a bike collide the car takes the responsibility and the fault" ???
