Default Dash interface control

Hi All!

Hoping someone could give some advice on an ICE question I have please.

I have an aftermarket Alpine HU in the 'S' and I called up Alpine to order the KCE-865b dash interface adaptor.

Unfortunately, they told me that they no longer supply this as it has been discontinued due to poor demand for the item.

So I have just come across another vehicle interface, the AUTOLEADS-PC99-X61 and after speaking to the salesman, have ordered this along with the AUTOLEADS-PC99-ALP ( Patch Lead ). Have been assured it will work with any Alpine HU.

My question, maybe a tad late now? but has anyone any experience of using this kit or know of anyone having used it, any issues related to it etc etc?

Any advice on this would be much appreciated, Thanks!

Try this company. Most members have these fitted to their aftermarket units

if it's the same one on CarAudioDirect ..

I've got one and it's fine ..

Gets confused sometimes (sometimes the 'volume down', does 'volume up' if you are closing the passenger window at the same time).

Adam, forgot to mention the fronts go upside down (this irritated me even though you won't see the logo!) but it's obvious because of the screw pattern.

Did this work ok

Need to update my headunit after buying Jel's s-pods and front speakers and have had the same problem of not being able to get hold of an Alpine one.
Yep, no problems at all mate! Can recommend this from my own personal experience.

All the switches/buttons on the dashboard work perfectly fine.
