Default DBW Engine into a AP1 - good idea?

I am looking at putting in a 2007 DBW engine in my 2001 AP1. I understand this is possible but will it cause any issues? I plan to get the whole unit swapped out. I also have a brand new clutch for my AP1 - I assume this will fit ok into a DBW (AP2) engine?

I know there were some changes to the cam sensors in later models, so you'll need your original valve cover and inlet manifold.

You will defiantly need to change the cam and crank pulse sensors, I did the opposite, I put an older engine int to a DBW car. There is a huge difference in the pulse sensors.if you want my old pulse sensors you can have them. Let me know.
