Dc2 Seats Fitted
#22
EP3 seats are not as "snug" as the S2K seats and the Type-R logo will make them look completely out of place IMO
I had both EP3 seats and DC2 Recaros in my civic, the Recaros are head and tail above both stock civic seats and EP3 seats

cheers for the comments guys. there night and day from stock, imo much better comfort and hold me in all the right places. Don't really think they look out of place there certainly bigger but about the same as bride reclining seats etc i like them anyway and comfort over fashion every time for me
iv fitted them with bride rails as i had one spare but they are slightly higher than stock its mostly the base of the dc2 seat is thicker than stock, maybe around 1-2inch higher, so am know welding a plate steel to me s2000 original rails iv cut the side mounting holes and lip off and welding the plate to the top of the rails 3 hole for fixing to the seat and this will make it either the same hight as stock or slightly lower.

Is the driver's seat slightly off-centre too? t looks like it is sitting slightly to the right from the pics (the 3rd one in particular)?
I guess if you go further left you run into centre console door problems? Maybe the lowering process will help - may be worth looking at that at the same time?
Either way, all that welding and stuff is very clever

Thanks mate
I never centred it as of yet cause i knew i was going to change the rail, but on driving and the feeling it does feel perfectly centred, i certainly never noticed it being off but will make sure when i redesign.
As soon as i weld the new designed rails i will be 100% happy with them stock ride hight if not lower than stock, Iv also designed it so i can still use the runners so i can still adjust forward and back movement along with the reclining, That's the plan anyway.
