Multi-Storey = private company?
So why should you get a ticket for a mis-spaced plate?

They don't have your reg, so how can they follow up on the original ticket?

If he wrote down the wrong number on your ticket surely the best thing to do is nothing right, they dont know who you are as they have the wrong reg and therefore cant do you??

You wont be getting a court summons or any thing like that. The owner of the Reg S2000CN will!

You'll probably find that most of these d*ck heads, AKA 'traffic wardens' have to write a specific amount of tickets each day, so being board and needing to catch one more car before retuning home to watch CBBC he chose yours!

I was just guessing that they would run a check for similar registrations as they do on the speed cam readers now .

Thinks , i wonder if S2000CN is a Berlina

Is it one of those FP Tickets where you get a substantial reduction if you pay it promptly?

These wardens who patrol car parks are a completely different outfit to the ones you see on the streets They're employed by the local authority.

Bin it. If the wrong number was written down, the original could have been anything.

I doubt they'll run any additional checks, they will persue the original number written down for ages yet and if an when that fails i doubt they are clever enough to run any additional checks. My advise is let the money grabbing scum waste their time. Fait has dealt you a helping hand today, take advantage of it. Being a good honest citizen by pointing out their mistake really wont do you any favours.
