Refill it and measure the fluid loss - it will whine with no oil in the box

may have to just top it up

but I might give garage whifbitz a try they seem to have some good cars and track record

but they don't seem to work on hondas

If it was my diff, I would prefer to take it to someone who had worked on them before. My choice would be DMS or TGM.

But if it is just the seals that need changing, the ring/pinion spacing will not be touched so it probably doesn't matter who does it, provided they are half decent. Even a Honda dealer should be capable.....

100 miles is nothing, members have travelled alot further for a service.

I know Rob has a good diff for sale with a 4.7 already fitted, give him a call 01226 295555

I have checked on google maps its seems they are further than I thought almost 200 miles so it's not an option what happens if i need to leave the car over night

He lends you a courtesy car, you go shopping to meadowhall, or stay and watch, and collect and drive home, its not a big job at all.

Or you can make a weekend of it, and come to the Yorkshire meet.

If you're faffing around with final drives I wouldn't take it just any where. Tom at TGM has done a few and did mine, so he'd get my recommendation.
