Default "diffuser" section of the rear bumper
Never realised before, but at the Airfield day, I noticed that everyone else with an AP1 had a black section on the bottom of their rear bumper (where the fog light is).

Mine is silver? Why is mine odd?

Been resprayed by previous owner for some reason.

Either because it's a replacement bumper which has been sprayed afterwards to match your car, or just because he thought it looks better...

I think I prefer it in black too, makes it look more difuser like, but then having it in colour makes it look more modern... but then the Golf VI GTi has it in black... oh I don't know, glad I've got an 04+
