Digital magazine subscriptions

OK after being fed up of paying 2 to 3 times the US price for magazine subscriptions I have looked at digital subscriptions.

They seem to be a good idea, you can save them to your PC and print them, so what is the catch ??

None, I guess, apart from paying for content that probably already exists somewhere.

I have had a direct print subscription to Car & Driver for the last 15 years. When I moved back to the UK, I just carried it on. Used to have to renew by phone, but now use the Internet. Cost is currently $38 for 24 issues. Delivery service is good, April 07 arrived today.
