Thanks for your review mate, you won't be able to tell the real different before you bedded them in properly.

Just try to go out and brake as hard as you can until the car stop for about 10 times. It will melt the pad deposit on to the disk properly. Then you will be able to feel the real different.

cheers,

Dixon

Mine are still going strong, though they still don't feel quite as good as they were before Rockingham. Great when warm, but a little spongey when cold. Definitely worth the cash though.

I think is the oil that cause the soft pedal. Its a common problem with Motul RBF600.

for the best brake performance please try the Castrol SRF brake oil. This oil have almost no boiling point and its the exact same oil they use in the F1. I use this oil on my own race car and never have soft pedal problem.

I don't know - I've been through this before (with other pads) where I've changed the fluid and it's had no effect, and I've changed the pads and they feel rock solid again.

They're not really spongey, it's just lacking the cold initial bite that was so good when new. The pad surface is quite pitted, does that suggest something? I did file off some of the top layer, but it didn't help.

Also I'm a bit concerned that my rears have worn faster than the fronts.

Pitted as in cratered? Might mean you didn't bed them in properly and they cratered as they've gassed off.
