Default Do I have a problem???

Driving into the office this morning, not much chance for Vtec, but on the one section there is, on the change up from 2 nd to 3 rd changed close to 9k and noticed a quick puff of smoke out of the back. When I got to the office 3/4 minutes later as I stopped the car I noticed both exhausts were slightly smoking. My journey to the office takes about 25 minutes so the car was fully warm by this time.

The car isn't using much oil, I check it regularlly and I am just about through my 2nd litre in 6K miles ?? Is this problem should I take it back to the dealer???

Taa Silver...

ditto. mine also backfires on the odd occasion too at continual high revs. Mainly due to unburnt fuel - hence exhuast pipes show black soot stains. hardly any oil use, though just changed it again this weekend.

I always OptiTax.. Went out for a run at lunch time and nothing now??? I guess it could be just one of those things, bit of unburnt fuel when the rpms lower maybe??

If it was on the OT forum would have definately been a zero thread...

Thanks for the input....
