Default Do I Need Anything Else?

Right, just want to make sure before tearing up my car this saturday, do I need anything else apart from these 3 things (if I need all 3?) for my new Alpine CDE-9882ri I'm buying?

Secondly in the FAQ I have followed the info on how to cut the speed sensor wire for the roof but can't seem to judge where it is! Will I see it if I have the radio out?

Cheers in advance guys.

Erm... look under the dash on the passenger side.
You will see a panel.

Now. Opening than panel without breaking anything is an art form
Very few people have managed it. I even broke the panel on my last car.

Once you get it open it will be self explanitory.

Maybe give your friendly Honda stealer

Thanks Gaspode, my dad is a very experienced technician so he should be okay in the passenger footwell, I hope. I take it its just plastic clips that are notorious at snapping?

the products i thought i needed are as follows:

Yep. I manage to break off the panel!!! It did fit back in place, but very few people have managed to get it all off without some damage.

For my 09 I left that mod out.

Oh okay, thanks. And the head unit bit? I thought I might not need the first one?

The Modifry is tried and tested.
And there is a local guy here who does another unit which works well.

I'm searching for you. back soon

You do need the last bit for the aerial.
And removing the radio door is a fecking pig. Watching Honda do it - they used a tool like a screwdriver with a hook to remove the top 3 catches.

As I mentioned earlier - You might want to consider stumping up for Honda to remove the passenger panel and the radio door.
Once they have been removed once. they are easier to remove. But first time it needs the skills of a professional wrestler.

I'll await the search results :-)

I have ruled out the Modifry already, interested in the others though. I am going to leave the speed sensor for now.

I'd hoped the radio door didn't need to come off, damn, to be honest I don't trust dealers as far as I can throw them.

Bristol Honda are good. As are Chiswick Honda.

Just pay your stealer to remove the door.
BTW it is easier if you remove the gear knob. And lift up the upper layer of the center console.
