Does anyone have....?
So my car has come off the road this weekend for the start of what is a VERY long process of strip down restoration and turbo charging...
Basically, I'm going to be stripping the complete underneath, sending off the metal work (subframes, arms, diff, prop etc...) to be cleaned and coated and at the same time putting on a full polybush kit.
Ive been searching the forums and found a few different options for polybushing, am I right in thinking that the Mugen Compliance bushes are better than the powerflex etc? So I'm best to add those to my parts list instead? Which brand of bushes do people recommend?
Im also after a COMPLETE list of all the bolts that I need. I want to replace EVERY single bolt I can underneath, so I know they aren't going to snap or seize anytime soon.
Does anyone have such a list?
If not, I will try to compile a complete list for anyone who is interested to make it easier for people to know what to buy if they want to do the same.
If anyone is willing to add info, I would be more than grateful.
Very very sorry if this has been asked before, but I cant find a compiled list.
Many thanks in advance.

I am looking at swapping my bushes for Powerflex and use mugen for the compliance. Let me knwo how you get on.
If you look at tegiwa website they offer new suspension bolts: https://www.tegiwaimports.com/genuin...ion-bolts.html

I used poly bushes , but added decoupling washers either side of the bush and stuffed them full of silicone grease. In hindsight I wish I had drilled through the bush housing and added grease nipples , any way my bushes do,not creak but it would be easy to,annually add more grease . My aim was to get free moving arms which I did.
I only had to cut a couple of the bush bolts cleaned and reused the others , and stuffed them full of marine water proof grease , the oftrecommended copper slip is useless in this location you need some thing that. Is water resistant that resists washout and copper slip will not. Fuchs Renolit2 for instance
The are loads of non load bearing M6 bolts use stainless for these . Load bearing bolts. Need more thought . Prop shaft bolts M8 12.9 high tensile capheads plated , you cannot get super high tensile stainless ones , stainless is like cheese or 4.6. I think they are 70mm long can't be sure measure when u remove
Half shaft bolts are M10 again 12.9 and I used aero lock nuts
There were lots of other I changed but I can't remember the sizes M12 for the bottom of the shocks for instance again 12.9
For all of these find your local engineering fastener suppliers and most of the nuts and bolts are mere pennies , but be careful about the tensile strength ratings. 12.9 ect and remember Stainless is cheese. There are some fine metric threads as well but again all readily available from a decent supplier .
Perfect Mike and Chippo.
This is exactly what I'm after.
I'll contact you via PMs to make sure my list is written down correctly from your descriptions...
If anyone has any honda part numbers for s2000 specific bolts (geo bolts etc) that would be perfect.

Awesome, Ive started making a few text documents with the part numbers needed for a the full bolt replacement.
Would it be better to just leave the part numbers and diagram numbers, or add a description of the bolts? I think the way Ive done it makes sense.
Can also make it into a XML if it would help people understand it better?

The part numbers are all the Tegiwa link above, along with a diagram, if that helps?

Ive got all the ones from tegiwa now... couldn't believe the price when I stuck in everything I needed...
For a full polybush and whole Geo bolt setup your talking £800+
Damn these cars need love and attention or they bite you

You should only need to replace the key geo bolts, and thats if they're not free - just replace what has seized and needed to be cut out. All others can be freshened up with emery paper and regreased.
