AFAIK you don't get one with Euro imports, I didn't get one with mine - I'm not 100% on this previous owner may have sold it.

The hardtop stand & cover were quoted as extra on MY 05 when I was looking in January. Another reason I choose not to bother with the hardtop. They do pop up on e-bay from time to time.

 

My 04 GT came with the stand and cover. It surprised me actually because it wasn't mentioned when I collected the car. A week later I had a phone call to say the stand was in now and I could go pick it up.

Also when I took the car back to trade it in a couple of weeks ago they asked for the stand back so they obviously knew it came with the car as standard.

Clueless dealers often forget the stand comes with the GT - you should remind them when you get your car (along with removing the spring spacers )

I had asked but they told me it didnt have one, I thought it was an extra.

 

Was your car bought new? If it was, then I'd insist on one.

If you didn't get a stand and cover when you ordered a GT from new then go back to the STEALER and demand one. IF you get any crap from them give HUK a call.
