Does the rear wing spoiler work.
It may have some effect at very high speeds, but I doubt you'd notice it much. At sensible speeds, it will make no difference.
It's styling only - the dealers refuse to sell you the front spoiler on its own claiming the rear one is also needed for "stability", but it's bollox.

I've had two S's both with and with out the low OEM and Veilside V1 rear spoiler and I can say I've noticed no difference at any speed with either of them on either car.
Though as our learned friend ( & Euan) points out you are not likely to be able to discern any way
If it does work then by pushing down on the back you will lift the front. Great for drag races over 100 mph but not much good for cornering. Racing cars need front and back spoilers to provide downforce for both sets of wheels and I can't see how the S is any differant.

The back of the car is a *lot* lighter than the front so adding a spoiler at the back is not going to lift the front.

Personally I think that this particular piece of apparatus is extremely aptly named -SPOILER.
If the velocipede is built correctly in the first place it should be completely unnessesary. On Formula One cars the case is somewhat different.
