Default Drift Day

I'm asking Father Christmas for some sideways action but before I do, I'd like some recommendations on where and who provides a good Drift Day experience.
I've never done this before so I'd need tuition and a drift friendly track (one with plenty of run off).

Cheers in advance

I had one as a present recently although I've not been on it yet, driverskills.com, so can't confirm if it's any good.

The drifting is done at Elvington Airfield near York.

I'm up for going together if you fancy it?

Oulton will be a lot cheaper. Elvington is legendary on tyre wear. The Oulton drift surface is low grip so does minimal tyre wear.

They provide the motor at Elvington (BMW) which is good from a tyre wear point of view but not good if you want to get some experience in the S2000.

I think the cost was around £150

They only do it on a Friday so we were going to make a weekend of it in York, probably not until the spring though.

If you do decide you fancy it Arran just let me know and I will get you the details. No worries either way.

I was looking at Elvington for drift fun as well as potentially limits handling in general and was a tad put off by all the feedback about the tyre shredding surface. I dont have another vehicle available to carry a spare set of wheels and I know I'd not be legal for driving home.
