So seen a few posts that you cannot supercharge a MY06 Honda S2000? I'm sure i read that the Rotrex kit thats good for around 400bhp will be ok. I'm asking as I was planning to do my MY06 in the new year plus various other upgrades!

Check out the Hondata site, it's not cheap, its not in wide use as it's been out about 3 weeks but the I believe you could use the k-pro ecu that they do. Mase seemed to think it was an option.

It does not loose VSA as it pretty mush uses the stock ECU for all but the engine managment functions. It does loose cruise control but that is not relevant for the majority of us.

I may be wrong on some of these points but this thing is very new to the market. Keep an eye on it in the US forums as there will be some adopters in the next few weeks.

It is a piggy back ECU and needs the OEM ECU reflashing to match, it was developed around the F22C.
Who supports and tunes it over here?

Any one fancy being and F20C guinea pig

It's all about the experience and expertise
Any tool can buy a tool!
Mase is great I relatively happy my tune and Mase experience.
But look how much R&D he has put in to the RHD turbo kit and the low take up we have seen on that.
People are naturally wary, I only went the CTSC route because there are plenty of them out there and many have done >100k miles.

I sold my 6 month old 06 and bought and 05 for exactly these reasons.
The other things to consider is:
1) ALL DBW FI kits lose the VSA
2) You WILL NOT be able to make significant mods to the kit. Unlike the custom ECU options of pre 06 cars
3) All the DBW kits have been developed on the F22C NOT the F20C we have.
Mikey,

1) Not true if you use a piggy back (not including KPRO) instead of a standalone.
2) Again not true, some US board members have modded GReddy and Vortech kits.
3) True.

Chris.

As ever Chris puts me right!
Yep other piggy backs retain the VSA.
For me the key part is the lack of +06 F20C expertise, experience and support out there.
If I were looking to FI an F20C today I would still buy and 05
