Default Drivers window issue

Had a little search but couldnt find anything. Drivers side window regulator needed replacing which went ok but as soon as you plug the switch assembly back in the window drives itself down, assuming the output voltage is stuck on.
Looking at the diagrams it can only be the switch assembly itself but does the roof operation send the windows down slightly when you open it?
Sorry but not familiar with the car as i only picked it up yesterday!

Roof operation (either raising or lowering) automatically fully lowers both front windows.
When the roof mechanism has finished it's cycle you can then raise both windows with the buttons.

Could just be the interior switch is faulty and may need replacing, or taking part to clean. They get gunk behind them and it may be stuck on, unless it's something relay / fuse related. Did you disconnect the battery whilst replacing the regulator?

Yes i have ordered a spare switch as i am almost sure its that, i did strip and clean the old one but its all electronic so very little to see really. I did not disconnect the battery but i am not sure what difference that would make.

Sometimes whatever your repairing, it can blow a fuse, the electrics are a bit fragile for that. I've had them blow once of twice changing and interior overhead bulb. Guess I was unlucky !
We must see pics of your car
