Default Dry and sunny - Roof up - Why?

Having passed or seen about 8 soft top cars today, only one had it's roof down ( and it was mine) Just wondered why people buy open cars and don't use them as they were designed

OK if its really cold or raining, but sunshine and 10 degrees??????? Turkeys

I had my top up all morning.

I was running about doing errands and the average journey was 10mins long. To be honest, it was easier for me to keep it up than go through the motions of up & down 5 times in the space of an hour and a bit.

I love having the roof down bit soon it will get to hot to have it down unless it's evening.

Bummer.

I had a hundred-ish mile blast today, and also saw only one other soft top with the roof down. A CLK with a middle aged woman in it, which surprised me.

Funny isn't it..never ceases to amaze me how my 4yr old daughter can sleep in the S with the roof down, the music on, at normal cruising altitude.

I guess that's contentment

My roof is down most of the time too...but in all honesty occasionally I'm too tired to fancy it or 200 miles down a motorway topless isn't too appealing or I'm going to a meeting or maybe I'm sunburnt or....

I do over 20000 miles a year, no hard top here and even in the winter if it ain't raining most days the top is off.

But just occasionally, don't fancy it...so what, I do as I please
