Default Dull spot

Right, im having problems with the revs sticking, so yesterday, i took the throttle body off completly and give it a clean using carb cleaner. took as much crap off it as i possibly could.

I also sprayed some carb cleaner down whereever the throttle body joins to (intake manifold?).

I put the gasket that was between the throttle body and the intake manifold back onto the car.

Ive put it all back together and still got the sticky throttle However, ive now got a new problem. Sometimes when im driving, if im crusing in a higher gear, and i just touch the throttel its as if theres a dull spot, and it wont pull like it used to. not that it used to fly or anything, but it just seems duller then it used to.

its seems to be between 2000-3000rpm.

anyone know what might be the problem? should i have put a new gasket back on? honda are fully booked up

somebody please help, its stressing me out!

also give the map sensor a clean. It is on top of the throttle body.
Take it off when cold, or you will strip the screws.

well it is the sensor that tells the ecu how much air is entering. The tps tells the ecu where our foot is. Combined they could give a bit of lag.

throttle position sensor. If you look at the throttle body it'll be obvious. Think it is on the opposite side of the cable.

See link in my signature for help on this.

Slack throttle cable, duff lambda or MAP are likely.
