Default DVD

Thought I'd post this here in case you don't visit the Meets threads very often, but here's the thing:

The MM1 dvd has been on sale for a couple of weeks now and there are more than a few who said they would buy who have yet to place an order. If that's because of difficulties with Paypal or whatever, everything can be sorted. While I don't mind toddling to the Post Office every day (especially while I don't have a car ) to post the odd one or two discs, it would be much more satisfying to be sending a bundle instead and get all orders satisfied sooner rather than later.

So, if you're still interested (you know who you are!), head on over to the Meets and Events board, click the banner where you see it, send me a pm or go straight to http://www.s2kuk.com/s2kuk/PaymentPages/MM1DVD.php

TBH it appears the same difficulties are being had with XM2, i.e. initial interest outweighing action.

I don't want anyone to read my thread as a complaint, because it's not. Phil and I got a kick out of doing the dvd and it's nice that so far, any reviews have been positive to very positive.

I was just pointing out the existence of the thread on the Meets and Events board thinking some may not have seen it there or the banner 'advertising' it.

If anyone has changed their mind or whatever, that's their prerogative and I respect that.

Just want to give everyone an equal opportunity to buy a copy before I think about distributing to the wider S2k community. If you've been suckered into buying one of those rubbish American dvds of S2000s supposedly doing their stuff (which I did) and thought they were (which I didn't) then the MM1 disc is definitely a notch or ten higher. Whatever, we should be able to flog some of the rest and raise more dosh for charidee.

It is great and I was not even there. The cars were great but Mans Best and IIRC his son have done a great job - fantastic job

If you went you should try and find the cash as it worth it without a doubt

Belatedly (for which apologies - I had to sort out changing card details and billing address on PayPal, and had put off doing it for ages ), I've placed my order for a copy

Come on, people - it's for charity! And the least you can do is stump up

I was going to buy one ...... but then wondered about the paypal payment and where the money was going to.

Is the money going to the club?

Is the club liable for VAT on the DVDs?

If the club writes a cheque to a charity the tax cannot be claimed back

(So far the keyring charity fund stands at ~
