Default ECU Reset

Hi

How do I reset the ECU? Sorry the search is still down

Once this has been done is there anything else I will need to do e.g. reset stereo etc? Is it worth giving the MAP sensor a whack at the same time?

Thanks

Ash

Remove fuse 25 from the under-dash fuse box (above your right knee)

Search is back up again now, so I'm not sure why it won't work for you, Ash. Use the search button on the tab at the top, not the box in the top RH corner.

Why are you wanting to reset the ECU....?

New exhaust at a guess.

Easiest thing to do is disconnect the +ve terminal of the battery.

Will then need the stereo code though.

I just thought it might be worthwhile since adding the HKS... Sounds easy enough to do...

Is it just the stereo and the clock that will need to be reprogrammed?

Cheers.

I had to reset my ECU after fitting my Invidia due to rough idle & stalling. I would think due to difference in back pressure.

ECU reset cured problem
