An electrical question re LED's
Hi.
I'm installing the NOS bottle heater and want to run an LED up to the dash to show when it's switched on.
My plan is this (Excuse the crappy drawing)

What I need to know is, do I need any kind of resistor in line with the LED?
These are the LED's I was going to get.

Or can anyone think of a better way of getting an LED to light up when the switch is switched on?

Not on the 80A leg between the battery and bottle heater. On the leg between the Switched ignition connection, through the switch and into the relay (If that makes sense).
And the LED will be in parallel with that wire. If the LED blows I didn't want that switched line to stop working.
(The relay connection diagram may not be entirely accurate but hopefully you can see what I mean)
