Try Admiral.

Same company as Elephant but both give good introductory discounts. I used to switch back and forward between them every year

I also have my insurance with Elephant, you may find it interesting to know that they apparently don't offer any premium savings for parking in a garage. When I was getting my quote on the phone I was asked where I would keep the car, I answered a garage. I then enquired further, asking what about if I parked the car in the garage most of the time, but occasionally parked it in the street. I was told that it must be always parked in the garage otherwise I risked invalidating my insurance.

I didn't like the sound of losing the entire value of my S if it was nicked after I left it in the street one night so I asked for 2 quotes, one for parking in the garage and one for parking anywhere(i.e. the street). The lady then said "to be honest there's no difference in the premium either way"!

FFS, obviously I chose the 2nd option!

but how can an air filter make your car more appealing to car thieves.

so if they opened the bonnet and saw the paper filter they would leave it and walk away?????
