Default EMS light?

Hi, I put a de cat pipe on yesterday and had no problems. Today the engine management light came on? Could this be something to do with there being no cat? Or should I be worried.. :/
Thanks

Yeh I hope so, I got the garage next door to my work to fit it, I don't think he fitted a sensor back on, I never got a chance to talk to him about it. I'm just hoping its not actually the engine!

Ok, so without a sensor it's telling the engine something isn't right.. Ill have to get the garage to sort it out on Monday, this is why I didn't want to do it myself. I'm meant to be going out in it tommorow do you think that's a good idea or is there a possibility it will go into limp mode or something!?

Im sure they put the sensor back in, probably just need to buy a cel fix and put it in between

Have a search for cel fix and you'll see what I mean

Every owner should have an ebay bluetooth code reader to check codes

You can also reset the light as well if its a code not to worry about.

It took a few weeks for my engine light to come on after fitting a decat. I had the cel (check engine light) fix as well but the later cars are more sensitive.
