Default Engine blown

car bought 4 weeks ago

driving back from London to Aldershot last night....Engine blows up at 2am

not best happy

recovery team brought the wrong truck (it's lowered so i needed a dismountable flat rack)

Had to leave the car on the side of the road and go home, then go back to it again at 7pm today, only to wait another 2 hours for the right recovery truck to arrive (they made the mistake again)

Weekend not good

Oh no - sorry to hear

Hope you get it sorted quickly and it hasn't spoiled your enjoyment of the S.

of course it has. It's currently parked outside my accomadation collecting dust until i've contacted the Citizens advice bureau, the consumer rights advice bureau, my solicitors and then make a call to the garage that sold it to me.
This should NOT have happened after 4 weeks, especially since i first paraded it weekly.

Should've got a vauxhall

You do have my sympathy. Always my nightmare when buying a car, though hopefully the garage will except full responsibility. Was there a warranty?

I meant long term rather than now! The S is a great car to own so I hope once it's fixed you don't decide to get rid.

Fingers crossed the garage sort you out - have you already spoken to them??
