Im not sure a poll will work, as there are so many variables...

One for a spreadsheet I think.

I did almost 60K miles in two years in my 02 - the only issue was a faulty MAP sensor.

Oil level was checked regularly, the car was never revved hard from cold and it was serviced at the required intervals.

A bit of common sense and mechanical sympatico goes a long way.

It would be easier to heve 2 lists e.g.

Failures:
Lower MY00,30k,FHSH,head fell off no.4 inlet valve. Valve head shattered was pushed out into the inlet manifold where bits of it got sucked into the other cylinders.

Still Going Strong:
Nottm_S2 MY01,29k,FHSH,No problems so far
Havas MY01,42k,FHSH,No problems so far
Si2K MY00,102k,FHSH,No problems so far

Ok if I put together a form for you guys to fill out. You think everyone with a failure would use it?

Would be great to compile a list of failures that I can make available on here as a spreadsheet. This could help people replace or be aware of certain things before it's to late.

I could knock up a script tonight and stick it on my server, if people would use it.
