Default Engine judder

I know right of the bat this will be difficult but I am getting what feels like a judder through the engine under load first and second gear Its not noticeable but up through the rest of the gears I can feel it.

I have no loss of power its still getting up there ok I know it is not wheel related because if I coast it is not doing it at any speed. I have a K&N induction kit fitted could this have anything to do with it has anyone else got one and noticed the same.

Hi Marc, have a look at your engine mounts to see if they are perished or leaky.

Both mine were leaking and the engine vibrated like Ians wifes "little friend".

Hope that helps

Do you mean it's battery related then, Mike?

I take it that it was doing it before the springs were changed?

To be Honest I didn't notice it on the way up there but then I could not get it up to speed because of the traffic but really noticed on the way home how do you think springs could affect it.

Just thinking it could be the drive shaft cups thing that makes you need the spacers fitted, but you've not gone super low, and your car hasn't got a lot of miles on it, so it's a long shot.........

Does it judder when the gearbox is n neutral? If no it's unlikely to be "engine" related and more likely to be transmission

Every car is different. Not everyone has the same problem. It was only a thought, a maybe. It could be a million different things, or it could be all in your mind - you've been a bit paranoid ever since you fitted the FIPK.........

All you can do is get it checked out mate. It's either something or nothing, but you won't know unless you get it looked at.
