As part of the old girl's refresh short of her 19 years, I figured I should start to replace the bushings and perishables. Suspension bushes are all done, next is engine mounts and diff mounts.
Generally, they don't seem to fail and if they have failed they are not too pronounced. Some in the UK have pulled their mounts at 70k miles and they are ripped/buggered.
These seem to be cheap and OEM quality, so why not?
I wanted to see if anyone in the UK has had any issues and whether it is wasted money or a worthwhile investment.

 

I replaced mine at one hundred and something with OEM (from the USA so the prices were very low). I'm not sure I noticed the difference, tbh. I also did diff and gearbox mounts.

 

You'll soon be able to see if they need replacing when they ooze all the oil/grease out.

Mine are 17 y/o 141k miles and still going well. One of very few original items working on mine now ha!

Taikyu were pushing the Spoon set, which at £450 is decent money, but OEM stuff from the US - HondaPartsNow with shipping via myus.com (sent via Florida) $434.87 + $40 myUS shipping and taxes (VAT would be 20% and Duty would be 4.5%) £77.50 = £420 ish..
An alternative is Direct from Japan Genuine too on ebay Engine, gearbox - £445inc taxes and shipping
I might as well get the Spoon.
I guess first things first - get under and check!

I would recommend Vibra Technics street mounts, got my set for ~£265 from Demon-Tweeks.
Seems very high quality and not much added vibrations, also a nice 1.3kg weight saving
My stock ones never failed but looked kind of sad when I got them out.
