Default Exhaust Configuration

Offside exhaust has taken a knock (previous owner) possibly from ferry ramp? It is now slightly out of line but just sailed through the MOT so its just cosmetic. Honda say that they cant bring it back into line and want

Not sure if this helps but someone took a side by side picture of the S2000 exhaust and an aftermarket one. Kept it on my PC cos it was cool , and I want to replace my backboxes.....

BTW: what make is your new one? better noise? debating whether to buy a replacement original honda one or go for aftermarket.

I have an MY04 model so i'm still waiting to to decide on a new exhaust system. The standard new shape exhaust outlets are rearly nice, but I want a sweeter sound.

The picture taken is from someone else on this board who purchased it for their car. Not sure who it was though.

Does anyone know about taking the cats out of the exhaust ? Apparently the car should be good for another 20 bhp ??? So ive been told? Of course you need to put them back for the MOT. ????

Jamie, I belive that there is just a single cat and I am considering dropping mine out in favour of a test pipe when I receive my T1R, hopefully within a week.
