Default Extended warranty

Hi all

My warranty runs out in August this year (bloody hell - three years ownership already!) and I'm thinking about trying to get the warranty extended. Can anyone answer the following:

1) Can you extend the warranty on a Euro import, albeit one that my local dealers have adopted as their own?

2) What sort of time period can you buy one for? One year? Two? More?

3) Is it worth it? OK, that does sound a little vague but do people generally go for this option or simply bite the bullet and hope nothing goes bang? In my case, the car will still be going to the Ring at least twice a year for the foreseeable future so that all adds wear and tear.

4) How do women work? I just can't understand them....

5) Is anyone actually reading this bollocks?

That'll do for now.

Cheers

Ben

1. if the car has a full service history you can buy an extended warranty. i have one on mine and the honda uk are legally bound not to discriminate against imports.

2. you buy a year at one go.

3. is fully comp insurance worth it? you pay your money and take your choice. my engine blew this year, i was glad i had the warranty.

4. god only knows.

5. yes, me.

you can buy a two year extended I've bought it for years 5 & 6.

You also don't have to buy it from your local dealer, might get it cheaper elsewhere, but may want to stay local for goodwill and helpfullnes should any claims arise.
