In the last pic it looks a bit Z3-ish. So yes, they are best avoided. It's the sparkly bits on a black car that make it look good. AB sort of gets away with it as his whole car is a bit sparkly.

they look pretty sharp and aggressive anyway - I can't see the point personally. But each to their own.
