F1: Indianapolis GP
Mosley's latest 'future of F1' discussion includes the following suggestions:
I think a 90% decrease in downforce would liven things up a little
Mosley has issued a discussion document with a series of proposals for regulations in 2008, the year after the contracts binding most teams to F1 expire.
His ideas include:
Independent teams to be allowed to purchase "complete cars, or any part of a car, from another constructor" - intended to save smaller teams huge amounts in design and development.
A return to manual gearboxes and a total ban on traction control, to put greater emphasis on the driver. Gearboxes would be standardised.
Aerodynamic downforce to be cut by 90%.
Limitations on electronics, with the use of standard FIA-approved software.
A single tyre manufacturer

Whos going to win at Indianopolis??
Trulli's on pole just ahead of Raikonnen, whos in cracking form at the moment.
and with the Renault cars not even guarenteed to be racing, all looks good.
Sensible money on him??

Must admit I didn't see that post Gaz ...was out being a social butterfly instead of a S2K keyboard potato
Back to the original question tho .... given non-exploding Michelins and reliability, I don't think that we can rule Kimi out at all at the minute - he's a man on a mission.
Were the Fezzas ultra-fat with fuel tho??
