Default failed!

just failed my mot. front drop link on the anti roll bar is broken! any thoughts on a repair cost?

if they're rusted they'll be an absolute pig to remove - i'd get the drill out sharpish if it looks like it's seized.

we did my fronts and spent 3-4hours attempting to move the bolt until we got the drill out. took 30mins the other side.

Just replaced my drop links all round, as i had 1 snaped rear and 1 snaped front.

That's some good advice from sw20danno...I use this method all the time when stripping MX5s. Sometimes they need to be chopped out with a small reciprocating saw.

I used an angle grinder on the nuts. I cut a few mm into each one, this made them weak enough to be removed.

Hope you get it sorted.
