Default Finally.........

Apologies for yet another "I got my car" thread, but maybe even you hardened old campaigners can remember what it was like the first time you got behind the wheel of your own S

After 6-7 long months of planning and waiting, I'm now the proud owner of a '02 Monte Carlo Blue. Not new, but almost as good as - 3 months old, 2,500 miles, owner has already accrued 9 points on his licence during those 3 months and wants to emigrate, hence reluctant sale. (Apparently, he got stopped by the local constabulary on the night he got it, doing 123mph - the copper took pity on him and so only put down on the form that he had been doing 90. Maybe they ARE human after all! ) Even saves me having to wait to run her in before I can VTEC!

Oh wow oh wow oh wow. 'Nuff said

Brindley Honda had one returned to them after only about 3 months as the owner had accrued a load pf points on his licence in that time in the S having had a clean licence all his life.
he said he just couldn't afford to risk having to catch the train.

It's a dangerous car Mark in that respect, so just be careful! IN a convoy of repmobiles all doing 90 on the motrorway, you stand out like a sore thumb in this car!

Congratulations, I'm sure you'll love it!

IMHO, the first three accessory/mods you need (says a man with 6 points who is only now taking his own advice) are....

A. A Road Angel
B. A laser diffuser
C. A radar detector
D. A heightened sense of awareness with respect to Plod

I have C, have acquired D, am taking delivery of A today and will get B when I get my 02MY next month

Congratulations !!!

Had a clean licence for 18+ years, and amazingly with my S, I still have a clean licence !!!

I honestly thought that my licence would be in a much much worser state !!!

Enjoy !!
