Default Finally found one!

I've been dipping in and out of the forum for a few weeks now and just thought I'd let you know that I've finally made the leap from Wannabe to Owner!

Picked up my S on Friday and boy, does it make commuting fun! Will post some pics when I get back home and download them from my camera tonight. It's an MY04 GT in Nurgurgring Blue with 9500 miles on the clock. Got it from Trident Honda in Weybridge and need to be crow-barred out of it so my other half can have a go!

Only things missing are some mats and a hardtop cover - any ideas on the best place to get hold of some?

Sounds great. Was it an Ex-demo model? I got mats from the dealer as part of my "deal". Can't you squeeze some out of them? Might sound obvious but just take it gently for the first few 1000 miles or so until you get used to te quirks of the model!

HT cover you should be able to buy on the sale forum here or ebay is always there. How is it that they failed to provide you with one as it comes standard when new. I would get in touch with HondaUK and see if they will send you one for free on a goodwill basis if the dealer refuses to give you one.

Thanks for the tips! Have already been playing some, but trying to respect the rear wheel drive....would be v if it all went horribly wrong so soon!

It's not an ex-demo model - only one owner from new and he is a repeat customer for the dealer. He wouldn't say why no mats or HT cover.... hoping it's not hiding some dodgy past! Seems ok so far though

Yee Haa Alison,

I can't wait for our mini meet!
I have just thought. I have the S for the next couple of days. We could be the ladies what lunch in Ss? Email me at work to discuss that if it is possible.

Guys,

I have a problem now. My friend here has bought a Nurburgring blue S. Should I expect that she will try to snog me next time we meet?
