Default Finally got it back

Well, finally got my car back from the garage. 3 1/2 months after i knackered it. Had a CAI put on without a receipt to prove so (on the cheap) and the little tube leading to the sump was twisted and bent. Have ended up paying for a new camshaft, conrods, piston rings, engine mounts and a few other bits!!!!

Camshaft was sourced from america, conrods from belgium, bearings for conrods from japan and the rest from uk and spain!!! And this from a Honda garage! Still, my babys back and I've learnt a lesson............always, always get your receipt lol.

Just gota run it in for 1000km and cant go over 5000rpm. Who cares, I'm happy lol.

Total cost after discounts........

Glad you got it back. Running in not too bad at this time of year what with the wet roads and all the diesel about!

Apparantely it was a build up of pressure on the sump from the little tube on the side (bend n twisted) theat made the oil rise to the top and the engine ended up running with no oil at the bottom.
